Pelican Software SRL, d/b/a Pubsio (“Pubsio,” “we” or “us”) values privacy. Pubsio operates an ad network that serves and displays targeted advertisements, including online display ads, pop up ads, and in-text ads. In this Privacy Policy (“Policy”), we describe how we collect, use, and disclose information that we obtain about visitors to or users of our website www.pubsio.com (the “Site”), as well as through our advertising services (the “Ad Services” or the “Services”). Our Privacy Policy does not cover the information practices of other companies and organizations that use our Ad Services, and that may use cookies, pixel tags and other technologies to serve and offer relevant ads.

Your use of our Site or Ad Services, and any dispute over privacy, is subject to this Policy, as well as our Ad Services Terms and Conditions[LINK], and our Website Terms of Use[LINK] (collectively, the “Terms”), including their applicable limitations on damages and the resolution of disputes. Information We Collect Directly From You. Certain areas and features of our Site and Services require registration. For example, to sign up as a publisher or advertiser you must create an account with us. In order to register for an account, you must provide your name, email address, company name and address.

Information We Collect Automatically on our Site. We may automatically collect the following information about your use of our Site or Services through cookies, web beacons, and other technologies: domains visited; your browser type and operating system; web pages you view; links you click; your IP address; the length of time you visit our Site and or use our Services; and the referring URL, or the webpage that led you to our Site, and the following: access time, device ID, IP address, page views and referring URL. Information We Collect from Ad Services. We collect information through the Ad Services, like when you visit a website that uses our Services, use a desktop application or browser add-on/extension that uses our Services, or view and interact with our ads and content. We collect this information via cookies, pixel tags (AKA clear GIFs or web beacons), JavaScript and log files. We also may collect and store information locally on your device using mechanisms such as browser web storage (including HTML 5) and application data caches.

Pixel Tags. We use pixel tags as part of our Ad Services, in order to track the effectiveness of our ad campaigns and to serve relevant ads.

JavaScript. JavaScript is computer code that allows us to monitor usage on individual web pages. This allows us to track when you click on a web page, where you click, and add or remove content from web pages.

Third Party Analytics.

We use automated devices and applications, such as Google Analytics, on our Site to evaluate usage of our Site. We also may use other analytic means to evaluate our Services. We use these tools to help us improve our Services, performance and user experiences. These entities may use cookies and other tracking technologies to perform their services. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests. If you opt-out of receiving emails about recommendations or other information we think may interest you, we may still send you e-mails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us.

Children Under 13

Our Site and Ad Services are not designed for children under 13. Publishers of websites that are targeted in whole or in part to children, or that have actual knowledge that any users of their websites are under 13, are not eligible to use our Ad Services.
